02 Nov The heat is on!

Not only because the weather outside is cooling off but also because of an upcoming book deadline, which explains why my blog has been quiet for some time.  Today I’ve spent some time in my office writing about the near-magical effect of nature exposure on the human psyche while longingly gazing out the window at a beautiful sunny fall day.  Ah irony.  Next on the agenda is a discussion of the biology of awe, the design of religious architecture, fear of death and the origins of consciousness.  Well….it is Sunday, after all.
